Athletico Spizz 80

Signed by Charlie Eyre with A&M Records, Ltd. in the summer of 1980. Eyre told Music World, "A&M didn't have a band like Athletic Spizz on the roster so Spizz is a very important signing for us."

At the end of 1980, the band decided to change its name to the Spizzles.

Do a Runner was recorded and mixed in four days.

Spikey Dream Flowers was recorded in 12 days.
