Sonny Curtis

Sonny Curtis' career on A&M Records may have been very short but he included the most famous song he wrote "Love Is All Around." You know it as the theme song to The Mary Tyler Moore Show. 

Sonny was a songwriter, guitarist, and singer. He was well-known in the music industry before coming to A&M having been a member of Buddy Holly's band The Crickets and taking over lead vocals and guitar for the group after Hoyt's death. and working with The Everly Brothers and Waylon Jennings. 

Curtis was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
