Sound 80

Bob Burns and Neil Harris put together Sound 80 in Winnipeg, Canada. Sound 80 was signed to A&M Records Canada for a single titled "The Theme." The single sold well and Gerry Lacoursiere approved the recording of the orchestra's first album The Beginning.

The self-titled album went on to be released in Venezuela, Barbados and South Africa.
