The group called originally called itself The Innocents. They renamed themselves The Echoes and in 1959 found themselves at Keen Records working with Herb Alpert and Lou Adler. Al Candalaria and Darron Stanley connected with Alpert in 1966 and the West Coast Branch came to A&M Records.
