KIDS RECORDS

Kids Records was started in 1981 and distributed by A&M Records of Canada 1981-1986. Begun with four albums, in 1986 the catalog had grown to 35 albums. At the time Kids Records was the largest children's record company in North America. The agreement ended because Kids Records opted to start its own distribution in August 1986 so did not renegotiate with A&M.
