JIMMY ZISSON

Bob Fead introduced Jimmy to Herb Alpert, Jerry Moss and Gil Friesen. In October 1976 Jerry and Gil announced that they created a new position of general manager for the New York Office and that they hired Jimmy Zisson as the first GM. Jimmy reported to both Moss and Friesen. Among Jimmy's favorite memories of his time at A&M were breaking Chuck Mangione's Feels So Good album, attending the recording sessions for Breakfast In America by Supertramp and arranging in-store events for artists and working with concert promoters to secure venues for artists.
